about

Through ambient layers and electronic textures you'll hear the Persian oud; the Japanese densho bell, mokugyo, keisu bell, taiko drum, and inkin bell; the Tibetan dungchen, and gyaling; as well as the Indonesian kotekan, bonang, and gong.

Written, performed, and recorded by Ian Falcon over the course of four years at temples in New York City, the Hudson Valley, and the Catskill Mountains.

Tremendous thanks to Zen Mountain Monastery, Zen Center of NYC, Menla, Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, and Karme Ling for the use of their space, instruments, and tireless service. Also a debt of gratitude to my Islenos ancestors in Louisiana for their timeless music.
